The EU policy 2009/136/EG (E-Privacy) regulates the use of cookies on websites. This was implemented in Italy on 25 May 2012.
What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a tiny text file which is sent to your browser from one of the websites you have visited. It saves information on your last visit for example your preferred language or other settings.
Cookies are predominantly divided into two groups:
Technical cookies:
These contain data which enables the functioning of the web page and the services requested by the user, e.g. navigation or log-in functions. Without these cookies parts of the web page cannot function correctly.
Profiling cookies:
These are intended to record the user's navigation of the internet and to create a profile of their interests, habits and decisions. In addition such cookies can be used for marketing or to advertise products which may interest you.
How Do We Use Cookies?
We use cookies to ensure the best possible user experience. In addition third parties will use them to determine how you navigate our website and which content interests you. These services also save cookies onto your device.
